Under Graduate:
The department
has a dynamic teaching programme based on modernized syllabi both at undergraduate
and postgraduate levels. Since this University has residential and affiliating
character, the undergraduate teaching is imparted both in the University Physics
Department as well as in 14 affiliated colleges spread over in six districts.
In university department, there are about 450 students in Undergraduate classes.
Post-Graduate:
The Postgraduate teaching in physics is imparted in the University Physics Department
and in one postgraduate college. The total number of students in university centre
is 100 and in postgraduate college are 30. The courses at the Postgraduate level
have been structured in such a way which strengthens the general understanding
of Physics and Electronics. In addition, Diploma in Photography course of one
year is also run by the department since its inception. The present intake of
the students in Diploma in Photography course is 30.
The M.Sc. Teaching
is imparted with six different optional to be offered in M. Sc. Final as -
