The focus of the five year action plan
for 2005 - 10 is on expansion and diversification. As such the department proposes
to start following new courses-
Diploma in BPO Management (3 Semester program)
from July 2005.
Master of International Business Management (Full time 4 Semester
Course) from July 2005.
Master of Agri-Business Management (Full time 4 Semester
Course) from July 2006.
Distance Learning Program (July 2006).
Part time
MBA Program for executives (July 2006).
The Department proposes to set
up computer lab having 30 systems and a lecture theater on the first floor.
The
Department has submitted a proposal to AICTE for financial grant to organize a
“Budding Entrepreneurs ” national contest and a national conference
on Entrepreneurial opportunities and challenges in the globalize regime in the
month of September 2005.
The Department has submitted a proposal to set
up a centre for Entrepreneurial Development which is likely to be cleared by the
Ministry of Finance, government of India in the near future.

Students are encouraged
to collect information & disseminate it to society. So for the department
has published Gorakhpur Trade Directory (2001), Health Care Directory (2002) and
Revise Trade Directory (2003). There publication provide reliable information
regarding various services available in Gorakhpur along with their Telephone number.
