When was the syllabus last revised by the Department?:

In the light of U.G.C. model course, the syllabus for B.A./B.Sc. Mathematics and Statistics was revised in 2003. It was implemented in B.A./B.Sc. Part I in the session 2003-2004, in B.A. / B.Sc. Part II in the session 2004-2005, in B.A. / B.Sc. Part III in the session 2005-2006. In the light of U.G.C. model course the syllabus for M.A./M.Sc.. Mathematics and Statistics was revised in 2006. It was implemented in M.A./M.Sc.. Previous in 2006-2007 and in M.A. / M.Sc. Final in 2007-2008. The syllabi are revised every year in the meeting of Board of Studies.

                           Internet connectivity and one PC for each teacher, LCD projector, high power electric Generator, Xerox machine are assential as the department lacks thase facilities. One Librarian, one book lifter, one dataprogrammer, one cataloguer are also essential for the maintenance of the departmental library. These facilities will promote teaching and research in the department .
