Beginning of New Syllabus
The following new courses have been started
since 2003-2004.
1. Post-Graduate Degree in "Sata Shiksha Prasar Karya".
2.
Diploma in Fashion and Textile Designing.
3. Diploma in computer Application.
(B) Organization of Arts Fair
Fine Arts and Music department arranged
for an Arts Fair on December 12-13, 2003. The students of Fashion and Textile
designing installed an attractive exhibition in this Fair.
(C) AIDS
Awakening Programme
On December 1st, 2003, a conference on AIDS MAHAMARI
AVAM PURUSH WARG" was held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Education.
(D) Internation Literacy Day Function
On Dec 8, 2003, on the eve of
International Literacy Day, a seminar was convened at Janta Inter College Madapar
under the Project Field Pipraich Vikas Khand.
(E) Continuative Education
Programmes for low Income Group
In nine Nyaya Panchayat under project field
Pipraich Vikash Khand, Programmer of Continuative educations are arranged Law
income group. The age there programmer people are thought to manufacture useful
things for the society and to learn-cooking and baking, beauty culture, repairing
the electrical and electronic apparatus, environmental awakening, inoculation,
concept of small family etc.
(F) Elocution contest on Jal-Jiwan Amrit
On
February 23, 2003, an elocution contest on the topic Jal-Jiwan, Amrit was held
in the assembly hall of the faculty of education with the cooperation of the ministry
of environment and forest, Govt. of India under national environmental awakening
program.
Special Achievements
Adult continuative and expansion education department of the D.D.U. Gorakhpur
University Gorakhpur was awarded the U.N.E.S.C.O. N.I.M. Award for remarkable
work in the field of continuative education. This prize was given by Sri Bhairo
Singh Shektawat the hon'ble Vice-President of India. The program was presided
by Dr. Murti Manohar Joshi, the Hon'ble minister for human resources and development
Government of India. The function was held at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.
