The
industrial Chemistry was taught in the department of chemistry as UGC vocational
course. In the year 2005, the university granted independent status to the department
as the department of Industrial Chemistry. The department provides job-oriented
courses at under-graduate level.

chemistry, material chemistry, utility fluid flow, heat transport, materialized
energy balance and unit operations in chemical industry, process instrumentation
and industrial chemical analysis, unit process in organic chemical manufacture,
inorganic chemistry, pollution, effluent treatment, waste management and industrial
economics and management, and polymers.
